Next year im going to get a new dog since our dog loco *frowns* passed away September 14 2007 Its Just left us with an opean cut that one of our members is gone But the good news is im getting a puppy Next month (maybey) and i was just wondering If youd guys like to Help me pick one out! First can you show me thhe doggy its gender and what kinda breed it is? or can you guys give me some samples of what type names or genders? etc. thanks It would be nice and I dont care what kind of name it is. My familys thinking of getting another dobermen,But Maybey a Border collie. Thanks

a border collie sounds good. I would also suggest looking at golden rerievers or labs, they make really good dogs too.
and I would suggest maybe a female dog, because they have turned out better than a lot of the male dogs, from what ive seen with personal experience.

i suggest you look in pounds and save a dogs life it gives you the best feeling believe me!! and there is usually looouuds of puppies and different breeds up for adoption, and u might find a breed that is totally different to wat you wanted.
Border Collie sounds great but make sure you research the breed and look at the needs and everything.
I HIGHLY suggest you DON'T get a dog from a pet shop if you wanna know why just ask.

What kind of dog are you looking for? It’s hard to suggest anything until we know what you want... like high energy or low, trainable, long or short hair, or other factors. Do you have a lot of time to spend with them? Will/are/do you take the dog out for long walks? or will they get a lot of exercise? I personally don't consider the back yard as a good substitute for exercise, unless you have acreage. Like...more then 3 acres.

But I would suggest checking shelters or rescues first. If you are looking for a specific breed, try rescues first, they will be able to place the best dog with you. If that doesn't work, try then a breeder, but find a good one. And never go to a "Petshop" (Like PetLand or Puppies-R-Us) to get a pet. Unless it’s like Petsmart's adoption center, of course, that’s a rescue.

Thanks and my mom and me are looking for eanykind of Hair(Short or long etc) Border collie or dobermen And some names for a Female And Yes I wont go to petshops we are planing to go to The SPCA or other recue places also a collie would be good. (eany suggestions?)

lets just say the people that breed pet shop puppies arn't that nice people, they only do it for the money.
On the cages at pet shops they arnt always wat they say they are.
I can't really tell you on here wat goes on in the breeders homes because its to sad and groosom so please if you want to know ANYTHING just email me.

I think the perfect dog it a border collie cross golden reriever i have one called perdy she a very good dog very smart and caring
They are very loyal dogs and better family members

sorry about poor little loco, i hate it when that kind of stuff happens. You know it will happen but no matter how much people tell themselves this it always break your heart. I would suggest you visit your local animal shelter and see which dog suits your lifestyle or persona. There are plenty of pure breeds and young animals wating for loving homes.

Labs are really nice dogs. I think chocolate labs are the cutest though, their eyes stand out if they have brown fur. Labs are sooo friendly and loyal, some labs are rescue dogs. Labs are really smart also. I suggest a female but males are nice too, males pee all over though if you don't get them fixed. Some girl names are:

Labs are very nice dogs to have i had one called Smiley i miss him so
But they get fat very easily because they are huuuuuge eaters
I would more likely go for a black or golden because i have no idea where the brown ones came from, the golden and black ones are the real colors.
But i have no thing against the brown ones the they are very cute its i prefer the original colors because the brown colored ones came up out of no where lol.

I would advice for a rescue dog, beacuse they will give you lots of love and they need a good home like yours,

So sorry to here the loss of your loco, he/she was probaly a very good dog.
