^ yes, during my trip I had a high urge to climb one. But because on the islands it was a national park, that wasn't permitted. ;3

And I must agree, red woods are gorgeous trees. As well as cedars. Wow... I absolutely love cedars. The red cedar especially. xP

Wisteria's aren't really a tree, in fact they're a vine but they look very similar to a tree and they are my all time favourite. As for trees I don't know very many kinds but I like Weeping willows and birch. Also, Redwoods are super cool too. Also I like any kind of maple trees, but Japanese Maple trees are beautiful.

  • I love so many trees, to be honest. Watercolouring them is a great pass-time, especially when a forest is quite near to my house. Anyway, my favourite type, without a doubt, is cypress. Bald cypress. The cypress knees -roots- are just utterly fascinating and the colours of the trunk are gorgeous. Cypress trees normally grow Spanish moss (which is also an astonishing sight) and reside near marsh land. Cypresses have exquisite choices in scenery, and I love them.
