Hmm. I watched a documentry on an accident like this. In that case it was because of a storm that had been on at night while the birds were flying. Maybe the same sort of thing?

This is very interesting, but I think I agree with what Kivia said on page 1.
Kivia wrote:So they say it was "blunt force trauma"....I'm just have difficulty believing that. I mean, if something falls out of the sky, then wouldn't it obviously have trauma when it hits the ground? And if fireworks startled them and eventually led to the thousands of birds to die, then how come this doesn't happen every year, or every 4th of July? But again, it can just be the media blowing this all out of proportion. One of the tactics they like to use is fear, and I think they're definitely using it here. If this does actually happen more often than we think, then this really does sadden me.

What she said does make sense, if it was fire works the scared the from the sky then this should have happened every year. However I can't say that what they suggested is a complete lie, I'm not a scientist and it could be anything causing this. This article was very informational though, thanks for sharing it!

Birds fly because evolution has made them do so (for evading predators, finding food/hunting, etc.), not because they want to. Please try to stay on topic though, WolvesOfTheSeas. Thanks!

I saw this on a TV show and they were listing a bunch of conspiracy theories about odd signals coming from the NSA and things like that, and there was no mention of sound or obstacles.
A bunch of nonsense to me.
But I do think it is odd for this not to happen every Canada day or Fourth of July if it was caused by fireworks. The world is a strange place, naturally, but now it's a whole lot stranger. Talking of strange, stop making Trans-fat, it's just wrong.
Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.

This was odd because there was a picture of a crab along with this post.
