Welcome to the Insignia, the Wolf Navy.

Either you are brave, or you are lost, since you have entered our territory. Who am I? I am Lurk, the Head Admiral and leader of the Insignia. Don't worry, we'll let you go- you're lucky enough.

Territory

We live in an abandoned port and cruise ship on the American East Coast. We live in the abandoned cabins instead of making dens. Although it seems as if there is barely any food, a lot of rodents and small animals come here to nibble on some crumbs.

Diets

Since we do not live in a place where food comes in large portions, we eat rats, mice, and other small rodents.

Rules

1. Keep swearing to a minimum.
2. Respect all members.
3. No gore or mating.
4. Always follow those that have a superior rank.
5. All WolfQuest rules apply, as well.

Is The Insignia Good, Neutral, or Evil?

Due to harsh punishments and somewhat constant raids, we are not on the Good Side, but that doesn't mean we are evil. We are neutral.

Ranks

Head Admiral; The Head Admiral is the one running the operation, anything he/she say goes. He/she has the power to promote and demote. Disrespect towards the Head Admiral or Vice Admiral may result in a beating but they will handle punishments as they see fit.
Current Head Admiral: Derp-Bacon

Vice Admiral; He/she is the second-in-command of the pack; the beta. He/she has the second most power in the pack.
Current Vice Admiral: None

Commodore; He/she is the enforcer of the Head Admiral and Vice Admiral's word and have the authority to command any position that is lower than him/her. He/she has the power to accept wolves into the pack and to perform ceremonies. However he/she must seek permission from Admiral and Vice Admiral before launching raids.
Current Commodore: jade-fawn

Doctor; The healer of the pack, he/she is in charge of keeping the members of the Insignia happy and healthy.
Current Doctor: Fallensnow25

Nurse; He/she is the assistant and student of the doctor.
Current Nurse: None

Captains; The Captains are basically the assistant betas of the pack and the Elite Officers. Typically the number of Captains is lower than the numbers of Sentinels and Warrant Officers combined. Their main job is to train all members in combat.

Head Officer; The highest rank of Officer. You have a chance of earning this rank if you are at least an Officer and you are very active.
Current Head Officer: None

Officers; They are the law enforcers. If a fight breaks out, they must stop it. They must protect the pack from raids. This rank is given to active members that know what to do in a fight.

Sentinel; He/she is a rank above Warrant Officer. Chosen by the Head Admiral and Vice Admiral, he/she's most important task is to watch over the prisoners. He/she assigns prisoners chores and hold some authority over lower ranks.
Current Sentinel: None

Warrant Officer; The lowest rank of Officer; he/she is typically the messenger of the Higher Officers.This rank is given to an active member who has not finished their training.
Current Warrant Officer: None

Lieutenants; The workforce of the pack, they act as warriors, subordinate (or regular) wolves, and protectors and should be willing to perform the mundane tasks a superior officer may put them up to.
Current Lietenants: None

Cadets; The apprentices of the pack aged 6 months - 12 months, they are training to become Lieutenants and must do so through rigorous training involving hunting and fighting exercises. May leave the territory unaccompanied and join raids without permission of their mentor.
Current Cadets: None

Pups; The young of the pack aged 0 months - 6 months, should not go near the borders unaccompanied but it is not forbidden. Unable to join raids or hunting parties, but may play with other pups.

Mothers; Self-explanatory.
Current Mothers: None

Elders; the retired wolves of the pack.
Current Elders: None

Prisoners; These wolves can be two kinds of wolves. They may have been doing forbidden things, such as turning against the pack and repeatedly breaking the rules. Or, they may have been taken away from war.

Personality: Relatively mellow and laid-back, unless there's a job to be done. Can be cold to wolves she doesn't know, but very loyal to her friends. Spends her free time looking at pictures in a biology textbook she found once. Has an odd fascination with brain parasites.
Birth Pack: Luma grew up with a small family. One day, when she was 2 months old, she woke up to find her family just sort of... not there. She waited at her den for a month before deciding to move on.

This pack seems brilliant! I love military/history based packs. I don't know if I will have the time to join, but I will definitely be lurking around and debating.

Question, though. Can anyone choose whatever rank they wish to be? Even the Vice Admiral? Or is that earned?
And what exactly do Officers do?
It would be great to add some info to what each ranks do since they are definitely not named like normal pack ranks and can be confusing. c:

That punishment really tells you that The Insignia isn't a 'good pack', but a neutral one.

Eye Color: Mismatched. One emerald (green) and the other violet.
Personality: Gemini isn't big when it comes to being social, though he has his moments. Usually he'd just remain silent, unless he's being spoken to. Him being quiet makes it seem that he's mad all the time, but in reality he isn't. He's nice at heart and friendly towards others. It's quite difficult to anger him since he has a lot of space for patience. On that note, he tries to avoid pointless fights or arguments.
