• Okay, after some thought and research I have two new possible solutions for you Sparkfall ;3

    1) Admin panel >> Display >> Structure & hierarchy
    then select "Split categories on Index: Medium" instead of the full I previously suggested

    2) Administration Panel >> Display >> Colours >> CSS
    and insert this code

    Code: Select all

    table.ipbtable th.forum {
    text-align: left;
    width: 60%;
    color:transparent!important;
    }
    Then hit submit. In theory this coding should make the "forum" text transparent. :3

    -----

    On a separate note, it would be really helpful if anyone still waiting for a critique who posted quiet a while ago could repost/quote it since many of the older requests no longer seem valid and it will save the time of judging whether they are still wanted or not, thanks!

  • Many thanks Savoury! On a different topic, I created several widgets for my forum, on the left column. But now the right column [which has nothing in it] is still there. I changed the width of the right column to 0 pixels, but still no change. Any help on this one?

aihnrgvsdfg Help.
I had everything on this site organized into neat little categories, but now everything is simply listed under "forums". My categories have disappeared o.o
They still appear when I go to the "categories and forums" in the administration panel, but otherwise, it looks like this

    You challenge me with all these questions, your forum must be evil.
  • Haha, I'm not that clueless! Yes, I have been pressing the save button.

  • The changes I made are still there, but it doesn't transfer it to the actual forum, that is what I'm stuck on.

I'm making another site on forumotion, and I added some prettier buttons to replace the lame text at he top of the screen. I was wondering how one would then remove the words alongside the pretty button, as it looks bulky and gross as is.

The save. Hopes this helps.

  • I came across a super-awesome roleplay guide in my online meanderings today. I recommend that anyone who wishes to host a quality role-play site take a gander at this guide, or at least the sections that are of interest to them: http://realrpguide.webs.com/.

So, I'm in the first stages of creating my pack using Forumotion and I was wondering, is it worth it to make your own skin, or are you better off just making some changes to a pre-existing skin? What do most people do? Oh, and I've never made my own skin before, but I'm pretty good at stuff like that.
