I found out that wolves have 4 to 6 pups in spring.

I would have three. You can have 4-6 on the gae. 3 because the each ca have their own personality, and their so cute . . .. its a realistic number. i can already see me and my mate Heeki bringing those three on a hunting trip . . . *Dreamy sigh*

I want 10! The chances of survival are higher, the pack will expand more quickly, and one can still raise a happy, if not somewhat crazy family.

That's why you have a mate. You pup rear and they hunt. At least the chances your line would continue is high.
