It depends on my mood, actually. xD
Sometimes I really feel like staying and hunting and walking around and such, as well as taking screenshots of the game.
But at other times I just go straight to Slough Creek and continue with the actual game.

I am a STICK okay?!?!
Oh and I own Paradiigm.

Well, I usually stick around a while, and as a person who just can't play without it being realistic, I travel downwards of AM, then I move on. That's when I decide it's time to move to Slough creek though. Then at there, I stick around, then move on to the next thing to do, and claim a den and just take it slowly.
Taking your time when you can is key to a healthy lifestyle. You may have a set lifespan, but you don't have to rush yourself every second of it.

When Slough Creek was new, I IMMEDIATELY went to the second part.
It still feels new to me actually and I think it looks nicer than Amethyst Mountain, especially in the snow.
But since that isn't so new anymore, I tend to linger in the first part.
It has a sentimental value as well, since there was a long time there was no other part.

Slough Creek has a hare bush as well?
Amethyst mountain has one between the lake and the big boulder. It even activates a different song when you have the music turned on.

I usually go to SC and hunt there w/ my mate, because I like to hunt in the snow. ^^

I prefer staying in AM without a mate until I want to change scenery - I just wish you could play on SC with one wolf, haha.

I stay for a while. I make sure to have 50,000 experience points before I go.

It really depends on how much time i have, but i mainly stay in Amethyst Mountain for a while to hunt elk, chase coyotes and stuff, just so to earn experience points, then i'll move to Slough Creek with my mate to find a den and take care of the pups

I'm going to try racking up exp points before I leave for a new place once I buy the game.

Usually I stay in AM for a bit while I wander around and hunt with my mate. Well, until he/she gets too annoying, that is.

Amethyst Mountain is nice because there are no pressing responsibilities; there is an overall lack of urgency. Once your wolf has pups in the springtime of Slough Creek, it's hard to enjoy the map. I like the wintertime in Slough, but prefer the spring-- all of the green foliage provides a refreshing change compared to Amethyst Mountain and Lost River. I have noticed that I tend to play longer in Amethyst Mountain and stay longer than in Slough Creek.
YOU SAY YOU WANT TO GET BETTER AND YOU DON'T KNOW HOW.
