I usually use a strong wolf, but I make sure to not leave stamina and speed under 42%

In multiplayer I never really have had a need for strength so I would always put that right at the bottom and try to put my speed and stamina as high as they could go with stamina being slightly higher than speed.

I remember in WQ 2.5 there was a stat glitch to where your wolf was able to get 100% Strength, Stamina, and Speed(it was a video on youtube and i used it to my advantage  ) Theres no way around it in 2.7 lol. I prefer a strong wolf with good stamina. But mainly Strength is my Key stat for my Main Wolf.

I prefer to build for speed and stamina. Maybe I'm just really bad at distributing my stats properly, but whenever I try to build a wolf for strength, I end up being too slow to catch any elk. Hunting elk is half the reason you build a strong wolf in the first place, and my mate certainly isn't going to be any help.

Stamina at 100%, speed at 50%, strength at 0%. These are the stats that have always worked for me.

It will all die out

30/60/60, so weak strength with equal stamina and speed. About there always worked well for me in 2.5, and it's working well for me in 2.7.2 as well.

I usually like to make my wolves fast, because it makes hunting elk so much easier (for me anyway), even if you do have to take a few breaks from time to time. Plus you can get to your pups faster!

I try to have them somewhat equal but having a lot of stamina with medium speed and strength (with slightly higher strength) works well for me. It depends on what I'm doing. I never put any one stat too low though, because they are all needed for something.

For the longest period of time, I preferred a wolf with high speed and strength for the same reasons as anybody else, and I do still have a wolf with those attributes. I tried a higher stamina, but only for a few minutes, and it didn't appear to me, at the time, to be terribly significant.
My favored wolf right now, a male named Xavier, has 50% in every stat, but he has a limpy leg, so that gives +10% strength and -10% speed. That totals at 60% strength, 50% stamina, and 40% speed. After playing him for quite awhile, I found that hunting was actually easier than it was with a faster wolf. I usually never ran out of stamina before the elk was dead. And, funnily enough, I was outrunning the 80% speed wolves when it came to running long distances. They'd shoot ahead of me, and then quickly fall behind while Xavier kept chugging along at the same pace. And then, when I tell them my wolf only has 40% speed, they're surprised. And being slower isn't all that annoying, in fact, I hardly ever notice it.

So stamina's definitely something to invest in. Balanced stats, I've found, are actually far more useful than having too much of one stat.

Speed and stamina is what matters to me the most--I can deal with the lack of strength.
I ran out of snarky remarks, unfortunately.

I always put the strength down a bit. Too much strength and you can't catch Elk, so what would be the use of strength? Likewise too much speed can be annoying with accidentally running past the elk and you tire too soon. Much like strength, too much stamina and your still too slow to catch elk. Although, I did have a strategy back in 2.5 which could probably work with any stats, which would be to make the elk run into an invisible wall and just bite!

Most of my female wolves have 40 strength with 55 speed and stamina, and the males usually have 60 strength with 45 speed and stamina. Enough to stay balanced, but not in a jack of all trades sort of way.
