I have only heard one yipping up on a hill once. I didn't see it because it was too dark.

I see them alot. But they're more often heard than seen. Just last night I was awakened by a chorus of them in my backyard. ^^

I think the plotline is simple and original enough that there doesn`t need added complexity as in CGI movies. Sure they show detail and effects nicely, but I would want it to be as realistic looking as possible in CGI, like Shrek in which animals look like real animals. not like Madgascar in which ...

I agree. You know, there aren't very many of those anymore... I liked the traditionally animated ones. ^^ I wish they would make a movie. :)

A wolf can put out a series of whines, "yaps" and various howls....I have never heard one bark though. They will also snarl/growl when angry and can also make grunting noises. If you would like to know more, I would recommend looking up "wolf howl" on google and you might be able to find an audio ^...
