Re: Going to yellowstone national park...
Well, I'm back I didn't see any wild wolves, but there WAS a wolf/bear preserve/sanctuary in the town of west yellowstone. I got some pictures of those guys... :3 (I can upload them later) [they even had some young wolves] I DID however, see a WILD bear. (I think my cousin was the one who got the pi...

Re: Wolves & Fish
Not only might they know it's toxic, but it probably wouldn't register as a food item. Very true. Seeing as this is a deep-water shark, I doubt that they would see one at all in their lifetimes, let alone two. And since a wolf would have had to seen another wolf eating it already, it wouldn't recog...

Re: Have you ever seen a WILD Coyote?
I was driving home today, and one was crossing the street about 200-300 feet up ahead (not in any danger from the cars, seeing as that road had a lot of speed bumps).

Re: Foxes in the Neighborhood
Foxes aren't a threat to a human society apart from the risk of getting a rabies infection, and usually foxes are nocturnal, moving around only by night, but I am really confused why the animal control doesn't move the foxes away, since obviously foxes do not belong in to an urban environment by an...

Re: Wolves & Fish
Yes, wolves will fish. However, a wolf usually will never eat something that it hasn't eaten before/hasn't seen another wolf eat. Thus a new fish type is unlikely to be eaten: thus if someone put some fish out to see if the wolves would eat it, they might not, because that fish may never occur in th...

Going to yellowstone national park...
I honestly doubt I'll see any wolves this time (they apparently arn't usually visible during this time of the year from the area I'll be at, but it's a slim chance...), however, if I do, I'll try my best to get some pics. :3 I think my location is on the north east side of the park FYI. //edited// h...

Heh, I have a whole pack of coyotes right behind my house...
They do have a bad tendency to attack dogs though.

Re: Distemper has run course in Yellowstone wolves
Now that's a dangerous disease! (well, the wolves don't get any medical care, but a 1/4th death rate is almost as bad as the plague in europe! (that was a 1/3rd death rate)). D: There are few diseases that have more than that sort of destructive capacity (only things like ebola (9/10ths? death rate)...
