Re: General Parrot Discussion

Quakers! I got a quaker for Christmas, hes a great little bird. My parents adopted him from a rescue center where he'd been taken from an abusive home. It was extremely hard coping with him at first because he was so aggressive to humans in accordance with his previous owners, but a few months late...

Sustaining head injuries?

    • Would it be possible for a wolf to sustain a head injury strong enough to knock it unconcious, but not strong enough to kill it? Thanks in advance.

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

[[ aiight, i'm down =) ]] As the two continued plodding forward in silence, Khose reflected on how strange of an experience this was. Moments before, he and Kaia had been nearly at each others throats, snarling and spitting out threats. Now they were walking along in companionable silence, not quit...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

[[ hey, do you wanna add some drama or something? i dunno what exactly, but yeah ]] Khose wondered why the she-wolf paused before she answered his question. She didn't look like she was thinking about it, or that she hadn't heard him; she just kept deftly silent, staring forward as the two of them ...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

Khose remained silent as she spoke, following her gaze as she looked down at her leg. His eyes instantly landed on the ugly scar splitting the flesh, clearly visible where the fur was so thin. For a moment, he wondered how she'd gotten it, then decided that that was a question for another day. He h...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

Khose had been expecting the she-wolf to spit back some venomous retort, snap in his face, maybe even lunge at him. In fact, he'd been so sure of his assumptions that he'd tensed every muscle in his body, crouched somewhat low to the ground, narrowed his eyes in preparation. What he hadn't expected...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

Khose blinked in slight surprise when the female retaliated, her harsh words reverberating in the otherwise silent forest surrounding them. He'd expected her to flee in surprise, maybe just stand and stare. He didn't break his composure though, his snarl only lengthening as she tried to tell him wh...

Re: WolfQuest Roleplay Thread

[[ suicine, my wolf is talking to yours, if thats alright ]] Khose was a large wolf -- so large, in fact, that he could scarely conceal himself from the hare in front of him. As he stood crouched, every muscle tensed, vision sharpening to precise clarity, he inwardly cursed himself for having such ...

Memory loss in wolves?

  • If a wolf were to suffer a head injury [assuming it isn't truamatic enough to kill them] could they suffer short term memory loss/amnesia?

WolfQuest Trends

I thought it'd be interesting to see what trends some members have noticed around the game or forum. One trend I've been seeing a lot of isn't really new, but instead of having the little 'sig/avatar copyright blaaaa' in peoples signatures, its been 'sig/av name/name'. Kinda irritates me, since I a...
