Re: What are your techniques for hunting elk?

Because I usually hunt alone in multiplayer, my tactic is to chase the elk, leading it by as many existing carcasses as I can to refill my health. On singleplayer, I try to do the same thing, but because my mate seems to never need to stop and rest, he ends up doing most of the work -- biting the e...

Re: Do you use a certain wolf in Singleplayer/Multiplayer?

I like to use many different colors on single player because I usually have many different games. On multiplayer though, because my username is pretty obviously my wolf's name (I don't like asking other roleplayers to refer to me as something like Clover when my nametag says Frost) I stick with the...

Re: Fight or Flight?

What I do in the social arena depends almost entirely on what I am imagining my wolf's personality to be. More often then not in Amethyst Mountain, I flee. I almost never check to see if the other wolf is Druid or whatever, but whether it is male or female usually influences my decision to fight or...

Re: RolePlay or Chat?

Never a talkative person, I prefer roleplaying to chat. I find it very fun to try to act as a wolf would. It's just really frustrating when I join a roleplay and the other wolves have powers, aren't realistic, or are looking for "meats." I rarely find a good roleplaying server anymore.

Re: Most Frustrating WQ Moments

Something that unfortunately happens to me very often when I play multiplayer is when I randomly lose connection and have to leave the server and come back. Usually, when I come back, it takes FOREVER to load. In singleplayer, the most frustrating thing I've experienced was having something like th...

Re: WolfQuest Multiplayer Pet Peeves

Almost everything that has been said before in this topic is a pet peeve of mine. My biggest ones are: ~When people threaten to report others for doing something they don't like, but isn't against the rules ~When people pretend something happens to their wolf in an rp (such as getting caught in a t...

Re: Crazy WQ Happenings!

These are so funny! I definitely want to try the bull elk mate and jumping off the map glitches! Alright, so here's my two: 1) Just as I made it to the rendezvous site and got the howling animation to start, a hawk/eagle swooped in and took one of my pups. I couldn't even do anything about it becaus...

Re: Things to do while your bored on wolf quest

When I am bored, if I don't want to start a new game and see how quickly I can get through it, I may invent a storyline and play it out. For example, the Burn was set on fire by humans, who are invading Yellowstone to build stuff; or, your mate eats a rotten carcass and gets sick, so you must feed ...

Re: Maned wolf ? You heard about it?

I have heard of maned wolves and I love them! I saw one at a zoo once, but couldn't get a good picture... :( I did a report on them for my biology class somewhat recently, and I drew the attached picture (doing my best to copy a photo) for it. :) http://nikkiskye8.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4v42l3

Re: Your Final Journey

I usually cheat on the final journey and save often . If one of my pups dies or I manage to stumble into another wolf territory, I leave the game without saving and then return to where I had last saved (usually not too far back). I'm too wimpy to see one of my pups die, but I am planning to play th...

Re: .::: Mate 'IQ' :::.

I would rate most of my mates (I usually have many games) a 7.5 I will sometimes get really stupid ones that will drop a pup in the water, then block me from getting it so it drowns. :? However, my mates are usually a lot smarter and I can depend on them to do most of the feeding and bring most or ...
