Re: Multiplayer Mayhem

Multiplayer is looking so amazing! Once it's released, I have a feeling I'll be playing it all day.

Re: Eagle Takeout

Lesson learned from this video: Never trust Dave to look after your pups. (Though we probably already knew this from when he tried crossing the river in the real Slough Creek.) All jokes aside, Slough Creek is looking amazing! I really like how the system is coming along so far. The only problem is,...

Re: Boulderiffic!

This is one of those little things that makes me so happy. I have always wanted to be able to get on top of the boulders, but I thought it would be more hassle to implement than it was worth, so I never expected it to actually happen. How exciting! Thanks so much for adding this little feature.

Re: Trying to get my friends/boyfriend into wolfquest

Rather than trying to explain everything to them, I would just let them create their own wolf and play the game with tutorials on. There is also a help guide in-game (which I believe can be accessed via the pause menu) with lots of answers to questions you may have regarding gameplay, so that may be...

Re: Having troubles with spoilers in signatures

I just tested the spoiler in my own signature and it works just fine, and now I have a theory on what the problem may be. You say your poem is big and elaborate, perhaps it exceeds the character limit of your signature?

Here are the pack name ideas I could come up with.

Chaos Ridge
Disaster Valley
Misfortune Peak
Calamity Creek

Re: v1.0.2c Public Beta

Is the beta only available via steam? So if you play with the one from ich.io you can't access the beta? 😔 Yes. The beta is available only on Steam, because it has a very easy-to-use method of switching between beta builds and the released build. (https://wolfquest.org/bb/viewtopic.php?f=97&t=88402...

Re: Slight lagging for WQ 3?

I would assume the lag is a result of the game loading new chunks of the world map, as it sounds like the issue only occurs when you are moving around. Because WolfQuest's game world can be so detailed and full of life, it likely takes a lot more computer power to load the terrain, foliage, shadows ...

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Re: New Update... Mulitplayer Situation

Lexicon chat, which was used to type more freely was indeed disabled a while back . These days, in WolfQuest 2.7, we have what I believe is a new version of Lexicon called text chat. Now you can talk freely with others once again, except for the occasional block from the filter, but it rarely gets i...

Re: WolfQuest Returns to Yellowstone: Slough Creek

Slough creek looks SO beautiful, both in real life and what's been made so far in the new game. It was always my favourite map in 2.7 and there is no doubt I am going to adore the new version when it's released.

RATS...guess you can't ping people here lol. If you would like to get someone's attention, you can quote them and they will be notified if their selected settings permit. Regarding the stats, I would love to see them implemented soon. The recent updates/patches have been larger over the past few we...

Re: How do you judge dispersal's?

When selecting a mate I usually consider diversity, how they react to my wolf's actions, and how they pull their weight in hunts. However, when I am not playing in accurate mode, I am much less fussy and may accept a useless hunter, so long as they are willing to assist in fights against competitors.

Re: Taking damage, doing damage

I'm not exactly sure how the damage system works, but I have hunted a couple of elk calves on accurate and can probably give some advice about that. Patience is key; it is a good idea to keep an eye on the mother at all times and wait for an opening. I typically find my wolf can only hang on to the ...
